Work Package 4: Adaptation of Programmes

The objective of WP 4 is the revision and adjustment of the existing programs of the participating partners on the basis of the compiled best practices and transfer schemes from WP 3. The revision and implementation of the programs is the subject of a complex consulting and change management process. It will not be possible to implement those adapted programmes within this peer review process. Nevertheless the peer review methodology offers the possibility that the participating partners transfer their learning experiences to their own context elaborating an amended draft proposal to re-design their existing programmes on the basis of the best practices and recommendations of WP 3. Finally each partner will have the opportunity to present its proposal to the peer group and to get a feed back. Each partner will present its amended draft at a fourth JPM in Lithunia and will give a brief overview on the bottlenecks identified within the adaptation process (legal constraints, budget constraints, institutional challenges etc.). As a result of this review process the partners will formulate policy recommendations for decision makers in the field of RTD policies.

Therefore WP 4 consists of two steps:

1. Each partner will have the opportunity to compile a proposal to re-design its programme within a month in their respective institutions.

2. In a two-day JPM the partners present their proposals to the peer group. These results will be discussed among the peer group and will lead to the formulation of policy recommendations in the field of European RTD policies.
